NICOLE CONAWAY
AUTHOR- SUCCESS COACH- SPEAKER
MEET NICOLE CONAWAY
Nicole Conaway was raised in a small rural town that had limited opportunity. Life was tough for Nicole at an early age. As a youth, she was diagnosed with epilepsy, struggled with low self-esteem, suffered with depression and was bullied. She dismissed her inner-feelings of being defeated because of her illness and introverted personality. She graduated from Lancaster and later enrolled at Rappahannock Community College. This pivotal shift turned out to be one of the greatest decisions of her life. Conaway completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Psychology from Old Dominion University.
Despite overcoming obstacles and accomplishing great milestones, a void still remained. For much of her life she was “existing” and not “living”. It wasn’t until the birth of her daughter that she experienced life full circle. Through her daughter’s eyes she saw her future for the first time and realized the importance of making dreams a reality. The pursuit of her purpose was led by her desire to be an example to others. Nicole decided to pursue her calling of speaking, which resulted in her speaking to thousands of individuals at colleges, high schools, conferences and churches. She founded Turfitti STR, LLC, which is a success coaching and consulting business. Turfitti STR, LLC’s mission is to inspire others to build a legacy worth following. The "Dare to Be Different in the world full of copycats (DIIBD) Tour was launched in 2013. During her tenure as a Success Coach, Nicole encouraged students to determine their purpose. She realized that students weren't successful academically due to the lack of emotional support, identity, and financial stability, which lead to the DIIBD challenge.
Nicole experienced the fullness of life and understands that purpose will make room for positions. She recently graduated from Liberty University with her Masters in Human Services/Life coaching. Nicole Conaway debuted her published book, "The Little Book Full of Nothing”. This book is a self improvement guide filled with little tokens that she once viewed as being nothing. It will challenge readers to dare to be different in a world full of copycats. Nicole recently went to the drawing board of DIIBD, and realized the importance of identifying dysfunctional behavior, learning positive alternatives, while living and loving a healthier self. This has lead to the new L2BD campaign, which challenges its audience to learn, live, and love to be different in a world full of copycats.
Learning, living, and loving to be different in a world full of copycats isn’t easy, but it is possible. Nicole’s high-energy and inspirational testimony will pierce the hearts of many and inspire them to pursue their purpose. She intends for her compelling life story to be a testament of hope, healing power, celebration of perseverance, leaving the audience motivated.
